I never keep entry backups and just delete my blog when it either gets toxic or when Mother Goose finds out that I’ve been posting my Counterstrike or The Sims progress instead of finishing my thesis. Mwehehe.

I have this little theory that beauty bloggers have the sweetest and (ahem) most generous lovers. I think it’s just us them being painfully adorable that the men in their lives can’t resist but get them pretty stuff for their doe-like eyes and cushion-y soft lips. I’ve naturally shared this theory with him and:

HIM: But I never got you make-up…
ME: Mweh. Don’t bother. I’ve got too much to last me five lifetimes!

So yeah. When he flew off to my could’ve been work land, I asked him to grab a couple of MAC goodies for me. Am glad that he forgot my theory and actually let me pay for my MACgasm cause if not, I wouldn’t get these:

As mentioned, we’ve been popping by every so often in the Crumpler store in BHS and well, no sight of the yummeh camera strap yet. Before he left, he asked if I wanted one from SG if there is but it’s $25 online and well, that $25 can easily go to my “Pink Kitchen Aid” fund. So no go.

Ok this is me talking really loud with a migraine. I reckon I was complemented as a good photo essay person so here’re photos instead:

Is exactly how I feel everytime I look at these photos:

H as a puppy, a pseudo monster, a pissed baby, and a poopy baby

Yup! Complete with squeaky boobs!

I really feel because babies are so hard to “style”! Any tips on taking great baby photos? I want my nieces to have smashing stills for their school projects and future blogs you know!

What A Girl Wants: A Shiny HP 2133 Mini-Note PC

Remember this face? Compare to the face I made last night when I met the HP 2133 Mini-Note PC at BHS:

Erm ok, just ignore the huge arms (I’ve been pole-you-know again at Movement *wink*). I got to play with it for about two minutes until the guys swarmed on me us. Initial impression: it’s a must for someone like me who’s looking for a UPC that’s affordable, stylish, and durable. The super affordable tag price (only P24,950 for the 1.0 GHz, 1GB memory, 120GB drive capacity, Webcam, b/g, Linux model!) has already got me gushing but these are the feats that blew me away:

Weight
Only 1.19kg. That’s good news for someone like me who lugs a massive make-up kit, DSLR, and a speedlight.

Scratch-resistant 8.9-inch WXGA (1280×768 pixels) display
2 YAYs here: no eye strain and no ugly screen protectors.

SD Card reader
Look Ma! No USB cables! Shoot-Transfer-Blog!

Large keyboard
It’s just 8% less than the average keyboard. That’s good news for folks with not so small hands.

HP DuraKeys
It’s got a clear coating applied over the keyboard that protects the finish and the printed characters. Also, HP claims that its keyboard is spill-proof. No need to fret when your coffee spills on the keys!

HP 3D DriveGuard
It’s shock-proof, thanks to its 3D digital accelerometer motion sensor. Very commuter friendly.

Aesthetics
It’s got HP’s signature killer curves and sleek lines. I can totally imagine the “ooohs” and “aaahhhs” I’ll get from my galpals when I whip it out of my equally sleek bags!

Jayvee said that the sound quality’s a killer too! *sigh* Am afraid am gonna go brown bag mode again at work!
