Dear <insert your name here>,
If you’ve managed to follow me here through my old (and now defunct) Blogger blog, then you might have chanced on what my doctors thought caused the really tiring, melting, and shaky feeling I’ve had for weeks in July 2005. In a span of 6 days, I’ve managed to look from this:

100 lbs.
my dad’s birthday, exactly three years ago
to this:

84 lbs.
@ the Power Plant with the girls
Early last year, I was hospitalized again (for so many reasons) but my T3 and T4 levels have somehow normalized. Ultrasound was clean too. Fast forward to Feb 2008, they found a mass that required me to undergo an RAI treatment. A treatment’s supposed to last for at least a month to half year but I get mine at least every 5 weeks or so (which is just wrong).
I’ve been painfully stressed since last Sunday that I’ve been palpitating, stress-puking, and the whole shebangs. I was brought to the hospital last Monday and was advised that we should try a treatment for the last time. Howevs, if another mass will show up in 4 weeks, I’d have to undergo a keyhole operation. I can go on forever telling you what I have been working on outside all three blogs but there’s no room for drama here.
I am not supposed to write about really personal stuff like this but word was quick (I wonder who told my friends hmmmm) and you guys sent me a lot of SMS and e-mails. Alexei (Bridges @ Com) and Minnie (Unilever) even floored me with a get well soon beauty junkie loot!
So thank you, thank you, thank you for checking on me and wishing and praying for my speedy recovery. I feel so much better now but still scared like shit on what awaits me.
I would really appreciate it if you continue to pray for me.
TIA!
Much lurve,
Phoe
