When I told my parentals that I will be hiking over the weekend, the only thing I got from them’s:
“HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!” The whole “you’re not fit to hike” and “you won’t survive not taking a bath” sermon was there of course and all I can muffle’s “1@#$!@#%$R$#” because I know that they’re right.
But I am stubborn and I love refuting their little thoughts. /:)
Decked from head to toe with my Columbia Sportswear loot (I seriously felt like a mobile ad), I crossed my fingers and just hoped for the best (I didn’t have enough time to prepare physically).

After a really rough day and taking a very cold bath with a tiny light and a human clothes stand during the night, the sight of a rainbow’s just a good way to start our day:

The best halo-halo I’ve ever had

From the halo-halo stand, I managed to fuse in a little booboo by slipping and landing on my ass. I am now nursing a bruise as big as a 5 peso coin.

On our way back to the beach, we had a little problem getting the van off this curb with soft mud. I never said a word but I was scared like hell because I’ve been to 2 accidents where the car went off the road. Thanks so AJ and his fisherman’s powers, we’re still alive.
