Guy friend: What engagement ring can I get for PhP420K?
Me: ‘the hell are you asking me?
GF: Eh diba your family’s in the (jewelry) biz?
Me: Ah :))
Me: Well it depends of course on stone quality and quantity, metal, etc. You have an idea/photo na ‘ba?
Me: WAIT 420,000 PESOS?
GF: Yes. Bakit kasi ang mahal magpropose?
Me: Oo nga! Bakit ang LAKI ng budget mo?
GF: BCAUSE OF THE X MONTHS RULE!

The price for an engagement ring can vary considerably. Usually, they can be found within the range of a few hundred dollars to several hundred thousand dollars.     ako I accept proposals with engagement rings worth 20k lang. The 400k akin na lang pang shopping! lol. at least yun hindi nawawala, eh ang singsing pag nahulog sa sink? Lol!

    Ayoko na magpropose for layf. I boycott this practice and I protest. Staging a rally in the Ayala cor Paseo de Roxas area with confetti, megaphopne, banners/streamers, and jeep-loads of “hakot” to boot for this purpose.
